Office Policies

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” thickness=”1″][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]How our Consultations and Payments differ from most Physicians and why?

Dr. Wolloch is an Integrative, Holistic Physician and practices a type of concierge medicine. Each Patient receives individualized and personal care from Dr. Wolloch and specially trained Staff of Nursing Office-PoliciesProfessionals. Due to this unique style of Medical Practice, her consultations and office services are Self – pay and are due at the time of service.

The office accepts credit cards or US Currency for services rendered. When you schedule your first appointment, a credit card is required to be placed on your file to hold the appointment for you. No charges will be applied to your credit card until the day of your appointment unless you miss or cancel an appointment outside of our cancellation policy.

On your appointment day, all charges, which may include laboratory testing will be itemized and reviewed with you. Payment is required on the day of service. If you have Insurance that covers some Laboratory testing, we will advise you of that and utilize the Labs that your Carrier has contracted with. Please note that a great deal of the testing that we recommend and perform is NOT covered by traditional Insurance companies (which is why it is worth considering the HMO vs PPO pros and cons before trying to apply it to this situation) and we will inform you of those out of pocket costs to you using our best-contracted rates with our providers.

Follow-up phone consultations, Skype, and visits may be billable and applied to your credit card on file in our office. If additional lab tests or nutraceuticals are mailed to you, the appropriate fees will be charged to your account.

Insurance

Dr. Wolloch does not accept nor participate in insurance. In some instances, services rendered (office visits, phone consultations or lab tests) will be reimbursed by general insurance, but we cannot ensure that. Please check with your insurance company prior to your appointment. Our office does not bill your insurance directly nor contact them but we will provide you with diagnosis and procedure codes to assist you with possible insurance reimbursement.

Patients are able to reap the benefits of concierge medicine without upfront fees and contracts at the office, as we do not bill insurance companies directly for your care. This involves much time and staffing, reducing the attention and focus that you receive during and after your office visit. Dr. Wolloch believes that health decisions are between you and your Physician, and not by your insurance company. It is important that our Team of dedicated Nurses and Dr. Wolloch give you the time necessary to fully understand your issues and delve into the root causes, educating and supporting you throughout the process. This complex and thorough investigation will take longer than the usual 5 – 10 -minute visit prevalent in the offices of most Physicians. Your health concerns and goals are what matters to Dr. Wolloch, not the insurance company’s bottom line. While she understands, you may select to do or not do something based on the cost that is a separate decision from what is best for your health.

Even though we require payment in full at the time of service, all Patients will be provided with an all-inclusive statement that is comprised of all the codes for treatments and the amount you paid. This should be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement consideration. Most insurance companies will reimburse 60-80% of the cost of your visit. We do recommend that you call your insurance company to find out your deductible and out-of-network coverage if any.

If you have insurance, any referrals, many lab tests, and radiology exams will be billed directly to your insurance company. The primary out-of-pocket expense for you will be the cost of the office visits. There can also be additional costs for Specialty lab tests, Medications, Nutraceuticals, IV Therapy, Diet Programs, Methylation protocols, and Sexual Health Tools.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row]
